To Oregon!

2007-07-277 CommentsTravel

Sarah & I are heading off tomorrow morning on a 9-day road trip to/from Portland, Oregon, taking 2 days up with a stopover in Ashland, 3 days in Portland, and 5 days driving back down the Oregon coast.

In Portland, we’re visiting my mother, who is recuperating from a knee replacement surgery, and otherwise we’re looking forward to some lovely coastal scenery and relaxation. I almost certainly will not be posting anything until we get back on August 5th, so until then, take care and be well!

Peace,
_Adam

hey, have fun, good luck. If you get near Newport, check out the aquarium. Great place to spend a few hours, and their aviary has some wonderful birds to get up close and personal with.

My last trip up there, I was told there were black rails to be found down on the paths below Fort Stevens in the Astoria area (and there’s a wonderful wine shop on 10th in Astoria.

wow have a fabulous time! I’m excited about seeing your photos of the coast. (Last time I tried I ended up under a fifteen foot wave… but hey, it would not be the first time I got too close to a subject that facinated me.) 😉
