Dad O’Rourke’s Bench

2010-08-136 CommentsHiking, Nature, Photography

Let’s make it a “Wordless Friday” – photos from a recent’ish hike to one of my favorite places anywhere, Dad O’Rourke’s Bench on Mt. Tamalpais.

Give me these hills and the friends I love
I ask no other Heaven.

San Fran? What’s that? That is San Francisco in the background 😉

Being my backyard, I thoroughly enjoyed those photos.
Now I’ll have to go on a treasure-hunt for that bench.

It’s here 🙂 One of the best places around, IMO. I’ve enjoyed magnificent sunsets here, and on either clear or foggy days (unless it’s really socked in), the views are quite spectacular.

Your talents as a photographer are really growing, these shots are very impressive. I really like the textured shot and the 1st shot due to the layers of grass, trees, hills, city, and sky.
